To combat these new enemies, you’ll need to Skull and Bones Items upgrade your arsenal:

 

Mine Springloader: This new auxiliary weapon shoots out buoys that create floating minefields, useful for area denial. There are two versions:

Little Grace: Earned through seasonal contracts.

Infernal Maw: Acquired through the Smugglers Pass, along with the Brig blueprint and Rhapsody of the Deep armor.

Brig Ship: A new engineer-themed ship designed to use the Springloader effectively. It’s the fastest ship added so far and improves the effectiveness of deployed buoys.

Rhapsody of the Deep Armor: Provides a sonic attack that damages nearby enemies when charged.

 

The Helm Update

 

Season 2 also brings significant changes to the Helm gameplay, enhancing your smuggling and manufactories management:

 

Fleet Management: Assign ships to automatically collect and deposit Pieces of Eight from your manufactories. The higher the ship’s rank, the better the loot’s safety, but beware of increased damage risks.

New Manufactories Acquisition Methods:

Helm Leases: Obtain these through seasonal contracts, trading, or Smugglers Pass rewards. Types include Regional, Faction, and Worldwide leases.

Buyout Mode: Trade with Overseas Smugglers at Outposts. Gather and deliver requested supplies to acquire manufactories.

Manufactory Defense Mode: Defend your manufactories from waves of enemies. Success in protecting your manufactory yields Helm materials, while failure results in a temporary halt in Piece of Skull and Bones Items for sale Eight production.
