5. Navigating the Endgame

Once you complete the campaign, you’ll enter the Atlas of Worlds, where the true endgame begins.

 

Mapping: Maps are randomly generated areas with unique modifiers and loot. Use Orbs of Alchemy, Vaal Orbs, or Sextants to juice maps for better rewards.

 

Bosses & Encounters: Each region has its own bosses and mechanics—prepare accordingly. Learn patterns and stock up on portals and flasks.

 

Crafting & Currency Farming: Engage in crafting via the Bench, Essences, Fossils, and Harvest to Path of exile currency upgrade your gear. Choose content like Delirium or Breach to farm efficiently.

 

Private Leagues (New): As of patch 0.2.0h, players can create private leagues to run a personal economy with friends. More customization options are planned.

 

6. Breach and Wisp Mechanics (Patch 0.2.0h)

The latest patch overhauls Breach and introduces better Wisp control:

 

Breach Rework: Longer durations, more monsters, and fewer, larger Splinter piles make these encounters more rewarding.

 

Azmerian Wisps: Behavior is now more predictable, which helps when dealing with multiple Wisps simultaneously. This allows better strategy execution.

 

Loot Filtering: You can now customize how rare magic items show up in-game using Tier 1–5 item filter settings.
