Tempering

Tempering is a new system introduced in Diablo 4 Items that allows players to add or modify affixes on their items. Here’s how it works:

Tempering Manuals: These new items drop from enemies and contain various affixes centered around a particular build type or theme.

Application: Players can apply one of these affixes to an item at random through a blacksmith. If the outcome isn"t desirable, it can be re-rolled within the item’s Tempering Durability.

Masterworking

The Masterworking system is a late-game crafting feature designed to further enhance your gear. This system allows you to upgrade your item"s current affixes by up to 12 ranks. Every 4 ranks, one affix receives a significant boost. This system integrates with the updates from Tempering, providing a continuous path for gear improvement.

Greater Affixes

Greater Affixes are more powerful versions of normal affixes, boasting a 1.5x multiplier on the maximum roll. These are exclusive to Ancestral Legendary and Unique items, making them highly sought after for Diablo IV Items for sale endgame builds.
